Thinkware only. The Q200 Pro, the U1000 Pro, and the U3000 Pro. We wire to ignition so the camera turns on when your vehicle turns on, without a cord hanging from the dash. The cable stays in the headliner. Hardwired so parking mode works is an added upgrade.

Important

We hardwire it. Parking mode needs constant power and a voltage cutoff so the camera does not drain the battery. A plug in the power port is not the same install.

The front camera sits high, usually behind the mirror, out of the driver’s view. The rear camera goes on the back glass. The cable runs in the headliner and the pillar, not across the dash.

Warranty

Thinkware North America covers the main camera for 12 months and accessories for 12 months. The memory card is 6 months. That is the manufacturer warranty, from the purchase receipt. A few older models carry 24 months. These three are the 12-month cameras.

We stand behind the installation. If something we wired isn’t right, bring it in and we’ll take care of it. We select only quality products that stand behind their manufacturer’s warranty.
